Haren’s Market is a full-service butcher and grocer, offering quality products and unique dining experience in beautiful, historic, downtown Troy, Ohio.

Connor Haren, the markets owners was the 5th owner of a small piece of retail real estate in Troy’s Southwest Historic District. Changing names with each owner, Connor purchased the building and the business, then Troy Meat Shop, at the age of 20. Bringing an energetic passion for agriculture, healthy foods and a strong love of the local community he and his staff quickly gained a reputation for excellent customer service and quality products. 

In 2016 Connor’s wife, Hannah came on board full time and Haren’s Market was born. Hannah, who was raised on, and worked at Fulton Farms in Troy brought her experience of marketing and agriculture and they expanded the offerings from not just meat but produce and grocery staples. 

After a few years of hard work, Haren’s Market was outgrowing its space. The search began for a new location. Connor, who grew up in the same neighborhood as the original location had a love for old houses, buildings and history. Hannah, who was raised in a pre-1900 farm house held the same affinity for old things built well. 

In 2018 the Haren’s closed on a historic property on the corner of Troy’s downtown roundabout. What was originally built as a bank in 1908 would now became Haren’s Market. After extensive demolition, remodeling and restoration, Haren’s Market opened its doors on November 20, 2019.

Connor and Hannah are proud to bring their business to Troy’s booming downtown area. Offering the citizens of Troy and the surrounding counties a locally owned grocery store brimming with the area’s , and the world’s, finest meat, seafood, deli, grocery and produce.
