In 2020 we started Haren Ranch to fill the local niche of a true grass fed, grass finished beef product. We believe that a healthy Earth starts with healthy soils and ecosystems within them. Healthy soil means healthy grass, healthy grass means healthy beef, healthy beef means healthy humans, families and communities.

We raise a mix of black and red Angus, Hereford and Scottish Highland cattle, but to us the breed is not what’s important. We raise and breed cattle that are genetically fit for our environment. This means they thrive in our pastures, calve on time, are docile and are smaller framed than most commodity beef cattle. We move our cattle to fresh green grass a minimum of once per day, keep them on pasture 8-9 months of the year and feed high quality hay during the colder months of winter. Our mission is to build soil, soil health and breed cattle that pass on positive genetics while providing a finished beef your family can enjoy!
